It is strange how the high desert can be so brown, but so beautiful... the mountians always rise in the distance to remind you of something greater than your own worries...
The sky goes on forever against the dormant trees and ancient rocks...
It is very easy to get your heart rate up at this elevation! What a fun hike!! Rosie protected us from the coyotes (we really saw some)...
The sun warms you up, but the breeze keeps you cold!! Layers are the key in New Mexico. Rosie keeps watch against a backdrop of Albuquerque skyline...I love Elena Gallegos Park.
