Here HE is!!! Everything looked normal on the ultrasound. The spine looked all closed up (no spina bifida). The heart had 4 chambers and she was able to see the pulmonary and aortic arches. The brain was normal and had proper ventricles. The sonographer estimated the baby's weight at 13 oz (online the normal for 19 weeks is 8.5 oz), so he is a big boy.
Ummmm... i think this must be his heart? It looks to me that you can see a saggital view of the spine here, but I am not sure...
Mid-line in the brain...
Right foot. He was moving ALOT!! The sonographer had to chase him around to get pictures of each hand and foot.
Left foot...
SO... this should be obvious! He wanted his dad to stop calling him a girl!! The sonographer said, "He is pointing due north!" Hahaaha!
Here is proof of "it's a boy" again. Plus you can see his femurs...
Waving "hello"... wiggle worm!
Sweet Little G. We need to start playing the name game. Maybe I will have more dreams about the baby now that I know for sure he is a boy! See his heart?!?
This is kind of strange because his skeleton is so prominent, but he kept opening and closing his mouth and arching his back... interesting.
3D (isn't it really 4D because it is recording time?)... He didn't stop moving so it was hard to get a good image...
Here he is with his feet up in front of his face... He wants to keep his devastatingly handsome looks under wraps until we meet him on his birthday!!
Another hiding shot...I (of course) started crying as soon as we walked into the ultrasound room. Hondo and I got each other all nervous waiting for the appointment to arrive (I was up at 5:30 am and the US wasn't until 9am). But now, I am feeling EXTREMELY happy!! Relieved!! Full of JOY!!

Congratulations! I'm very happy for you - I'm sure you felt so relieved after the ultrasound. Since I left my last comment I found out that I am also expecting. :) Due in May - had the first ultrasound a few weeks ago and so far so good!! Jessica
