Finally Finished Painting... for now!

I was cutting in (with a brush) for 5.5 hours on Wednesday!!!! The cats fought all day about who would get the coveted "top of the ladder" spot...




Mr. Moon perks up for pictures...



Tessa was very helpful... she actually went down into the return vent a few times. It seemed like old news to her - I suspect she mapped things out overnight. I accidentally locked her in the back bedroom earlier in the day and had a minor heart attack when she started howling to be let out... I was yelling "tessa! tessa!" while putting my ear to the floor. She has me wrapped around her finger...



Nigel was watching for robins outside. He is sitting on the Flor samples... trying to make a decision for an area rug in the TV room...



Here we are... FINALLY painted. Of course I spent another few hours touching up later that night. The moulding on the TV wall all required a second coat.



Calamity was very nervous all day - she doesn't like disruption of routine. She wondered why I wasn't on the computer or reading a book...



Here is a view into the Morning Room. The TV room is painted Behr "Harvest Brown." The Morning Room is painted Behr "Grass Cloth."

I will try to take pics of the finished (for now) room tomorrow... like I said we still need a rug! Now I just have to figure out what color to paint the kitchen cabinets and walls that will work with the colors in these two rooms!!!
