We found some "just picked" Illinois corn at the Kirkwood Farmer's Market. It was the best corn we've had since we left Nebraska (6 years ago for me)!!
MMMM..... steak, corn and lots of butter.

Here is our latest decorating project. We got Flor (modular carpet tiles). Pictured here with Gordita is Needle Point Stripe in Laurel. 
It took about an 1 1/2 hours to make a few cuts and stick all the tiles together (with Flor Dots)... Please don't mind the horrible couch scratched to hell by Nigel Brown. Calamity Jane does her part to smoosh all of the cushions as well.... I'm thinking a low rustic bench behind the couch would break up all that green (maybe like this one)? But, I've got to find a deal somewhere... plus this is a long ass couch!
The animals seem happy to have a nice spot to sit... the dogs are no longer scratching the crap out of the wood floors as they jump on and off the couch. Also, a place to wipe wet feet when coming in the front door. 
Here is the next project area... I'm thinking to use a dark coordinating shade of Flor to cover the window seat. This is the animals FAVORITE spot to sit all day... obviously their nails have taken a toll on the wood!Until tomorrow blog-world. I've got my first real OB appointment (barring any further changes in schedule due to other patients having babies - Jeeze!). :)
