A Gummi Bear!!

Here she is! I say she just because Hondo is convinced that the baby is a girl... Her head is on the right and two little leg buds at the left of the screen. You can see the white circle at the top - that is the yoke sac. Here are the stats (from what we can remember): she measured 24mm which puts us at 9weeks 2days (she must have been stretching because by the last menstrual period we are at 8weeks 6days); her heart rate varied from 150-170 which is right on target; she's got little limb buds and proudly wiggled around while the OB was checking out the heart rate. Seriously wiggled! We've never seen our baby move on an ultrasound, so this was unbelievable exciting for us! She reminded me of a Gummi Bear with those little limbs and big head. No wonder I've been craving fruits, rainbow sherbet, and sweet tarts... I'm carrying a CareBear!! :)

I am feeling grateful and maybe a little over-whelmed. I feel like my life is finally moving in the right direction... I am out of the holding pattern... SO HAPPY!
