So, the love of my life turned 27 yesterday. Because I am kindof overwhelmed with work recently, the best I could do is go buy him a latte and some cream cheese danish from Starbucks. We enjoyed a quiet morning on the back porch in the quite tolerable Albuqueruqe weather (you need a sweater in the morning, but your toes never get cold!). Later we went over to Renee and Philip's were Renee cooked some kick ass chicken enchilada casserole and beans (well, i think that phillip was in charge of the beans and of the roasting of the chili). Then we took a sunset/moonrise walk with Dufus (the dawg that looks like a horse) and Rosie (the heeler that has the attitude of Rosie Perez). Philip was wearing his "wizard shirt" so he was required to tag along on our dark trek to to watch the almost full "Harvest Moon" rise up from behind the Sandia Mountians (the moon is actually most full tonight). Hondo was born on the day of the Harvest Moon in 1978. Wierd huh? This must account for his willingness to share all of his physical and spiritual wealth to all of us needy people around him. He always says that the best present that he could get is for me "to be happy." What a sweety!
