Happy St. Patrick's Day

On this day 8 years ago, I met a very handsome (yet laid back and approchable) young man named Hondo. Three years and 7 months later we were married. Happy St. Patrick's Day y'all!!! Corned beef and colcannon served for dinner tonight.

Introducing Baby 'Roo. This ultrasound was taken on Wednesday at somewhere between 4Week 5Days and 5Weeks (4W5D-5W). You can see the gestational sac. From the far right to just shy of mid-screen is my cervix (it looks like a white line). Past that (to the left), the cervix opens up into the endometrium (pearshaped whiter section). The little black dot is Baby 'Roo.

Here is another view from 90 degrees. The ultrasound probe is looking from the back of the uterus (vs. head on through the cervix). The black dot is another view of Baby 'Roo.

My Hcg levels on Wed were at 599... by Friday they were at 1629. The Hcg should double every 48 hours during early pregnancy. My Hcg is doubling every 33.3 hours!! GO BABY 'ROO!!

We have another appointment tomorrow for another ultrasound. We will try to get pictures and narratives up ASAP after the appointment.
