OB Visit Number 2 and 5 Week Belly Pic

Here is the latest ultrasound picture. The gestational sac is getting bigger (as it should be), and there is a yoke sac (tiny white smudge within the larger black oval). The MD told us that the gestational sac is in a good position. There is some sub-chorionic activity just behind the gestational sac (this probably was the cause of last weeks bleeding). However this is only a slight risk factor... The MD will see us back in 2 weeks (I will be close to 8 weeks then) to do another ultrasound and pin down a more specific due date. We should be able to see the heart beating at that time too!! We go April 1...

Overall, I am feeling nauseous and fatigued (but not as bad as last pregnancy). I am able to eat much more than last time - actually picking up a few pounds over the past few weeks. *BLUSH* I will probably be over the 150 mark SOON!! GACK!! Mr. Moon really likes the crib!! I am looking at the Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper to put next to the bed (the crib probably won't get much use overnight for many months). I don't know how much the baby will allow me to put him/her in there at night, but at the very least it will give me some security that the baby won't fall off the bed. It also works as a changing table or bassinet for babies up to 30lbs and a play yard (as tam says "baby containment device") for up to 50lbs (like a 50lb. kid is going to stay in a play yard - that is Rowan's size)!!

That's all I've got for now. Laters!
