I started working on the DAMN kitchen cabinets back in April... Blah. I stripped off the veneer from the cabinet frames, scrubbed for days to get the contact cement off, and then primed. Of course it is at this point that I realized that some amount of glue remained on the cabinets and they have remained sticky without doors to this very day (not sure when I will get back to that project)!!

Mom sent Peeps for Easter. YUMMY break from kitchen hell!

We went to Easter Brunch at the Art Museum with our friends Geoff and Sarah! It was COLD that day!!

We followed up Easter Brunch at a classic car show. Now, for me, my favorite was the classic VW van with pop-top and green/yellow plaid interior!!! Veeeeeeeeen!

We had a "staycation" for Memorial Day... we visited the Boathouse in Forest Park.

We went to the Zoo! GRRRRR!

Pretty birds at the zoo... wetlands habitat...

We drank some beer!!! YEAH BEER!

Cheers! at Schlafly Bottleworks!

We survived a freak leaf blizzard!

My nieces visited for July 4th! We were supposed to go to the Webster Groves Parade, but it was raining, raining, raining. So, we hung out at the house and had 1st and 2nd breakfast consisting of homemade bean/rice/cheese burritos!!

I braided Rowan's hair... we talked and talked! Then, we went to Ted Drewes! YUM!

And finally.... very exciting news... WE ARE PREGNANT! Still very early! We will keep you posted!

Your nieces are so sweet! I love that I can finally see a picture of them. Of course, I'm still super excited about the last picture on the bottom of the post :) Many prayers for peace, strength and health for you all!
You are an awesome person and mother Angela. You can call/lean on me any time you need to vent or whatever. You deserve so much good in your life and not that you haven't heard this a million times, but God will not give you more than you can handle. I will continue to think of you and pray for good health for you and baby throughout!!!
