Camp Albuquerque Day Four

Today was a "no makeup day" for auntie... tired today. Rowan requested Malt O Meal for breakfast. After a quick shower and sticking a hat on the kid, we took the dawgs to the dawg park. We had to wade through a mud pit to get there (ewwww!), but once we were there we met a hound dog named "Bootleg." He was only 7 months old and very playful, but not many of the dogs were interested in playing with him, so he kept barking at them "come play, come play!" Which sounded like "Arfoooo" (like a hound dog). It was quite amusing and Ro and I spent the majority of our time there laughing at Bootleg. He also liked it when Ro would squirt water in his mouth from our sports bottle. Bradley got very hot (he is due for another shave) so we brought him home.

After a balognae sandwich (soy that is) we headed off for the pool. We got there at the same time as a few day camper groups did, so the pool was crowded. Ro just swam and swam and swam with her noodle for a little extra bouyancy. We left after an hour and a half and after a bath (ewww pool water) Ro and I played polly pockets and watched "Charmed" (an episode about trolls and faries). We met Renee and Philip at the Owl Cafe for dinner, then Rowan went with Renee to hang with the cats and return to the pool for a while. Rowan came home took (yet another) bath and went to bed. A good day for auntie (I finally slept)!
