We went to Omaha for Christmas this year. What a fun and relaxing time!! Mom took care of us by cooking up a storm in her newly remodeled kitchen (sorry was too amazed to take pictures - it is gorgeous)!! We also had plenty of spirits to keep us warm during the cold weather: a small keg of Ebenezer beer and dad brought out some special Bourbon (which mom is drinking here)...
Christmas morning (chicken hair and all) brought gifts and lounging after a late evening at church. Mom and Dad sang and played a guitar/piano duet beautifully!

Hondo and Dad spent several days sorting out the cables and customizing the new TV stand...We also spent some time helping with the tile work in their basement (which is almost finished). We got to see some old friends and reminisce about college days, visit with the horses and cats in the barn, visit some of mom and dad's favorite hangouts, and watch a giant TV in HD... what a great Christmas!!
