Here is the spread: corn pudding, turkey, chestnut dressing, gravy, fried apples, shuck beans and homeade wheat rolls. Hondo entertained Dad, and Mom and I cooked!!

Here is the corn pudding (double batch). Recipe was passed down from my paternal grandmother Janice Threlkeld. My sister found the dressing recipe with whole wheat bread, chestnuts, wild rice, fennel and onion. YUM!!

These are the infamous "shuck beans." This is a Guffy recipe (maternal grandmother). The green beans are dried in the attic over the summer, soaked overnight, and put on low heat for about 5 hours. This year we cooked our beans with a ham bone!! This was the best year for shuck beans ever!! Especially since the beans came directly from my mother's garden!!

Here we are eating with all of the resident and visiting dogs.

Mom's corgie "Bonnie" waiting patiently!

Dad's corgie "Pete" also trying to beg from mom!

Bradley is such a patient dog - waiting at the heels of Hondo...

LET'S EAT!!!! Notice the fancy wine glass (coffee cup)!!

Calamity Jane wants to eat some too!!

Relaxin' with the Corgies and her
Burbon Stout.

We made chocolate fudge... well I didn't. The Threlkeld tradition is that men make fudge, so dad passed on his legacy to Hondo. Hondo took notes on his Apple (what a geek)!!

MMMMM fudge!!
